Buena Vista

If you’re interested in a breathtaking view of the city, head to Haight-Ashbury and Buena Vista. Right in the center of the city, you’ll find that the row of Palm trees gives way to a set of stairs and gorgeous native shrubs. Continue walking up the road and you’ll find yourself in the gorgeous Buena Vista Park. You’ll find a lush scene of the Bay, trees, and a view of the Golden Gate. This is the perfect spot for a romantic and active date. The park is 36 acres, so make sure to bring comfortable shoes and lots of water if you plan to explore. Once you find a good view, you’ll want to chill out and soak it all in.

Eagle’s Point

Eagle’s Point is a must see. There is a little trail that you can take until it ends and then prepare to do a little hiking. On a clear day, this is arguably the best view of the Golden Gate Bridge from the city. However, even on a foggy day Eagle Point is romantic and gorgeous. There is also a labyrinth and the coast right below.

Grand View Park

Grand View Park is located in the Sunset district of San Francisco. Here you can get a wide view of the city. This is the perfect spot for urban lovers to look down and admire the cityscape at night. There is a nice set of stairs that make up the majority of the hiking. These stairs are just off the road (14th Ave and Morgana), so you can’t miss them.

Land’s End

Land’s End has an abundance of tall trees, wildflowers, and ruins. It is located right on the coast. This is the prime location to watch the sunset. Right off the trail there are small cliffs and rocks in which the ocean waves break into.

Twin Peaks

Covered in grassland, Twin Peaks in a soaring 922 foot Mt. On a clear day, the view is outstanding, but during the night it is similarly remarkable. Once the sun is down, the city lights illuminate the view giving San Francisco a beautiful glow. The path to the view is a windy road with grass and shrubs on either side. This park is 29 acres and gets windy, so come prepared!
