Resort Wear Designers got DRESSED2THE9Z for the opening day of Orange County’s Premiere of Fashion Travel Week: Celebrating the Art of Travel & StyleTM at the St Regis Monarch Beach Resort & Spa Botanical Gardens. Exciting designers including Kasia de Gelaque, based in Miami debuted a sophisticated yet hip design house of fashions with impressive high-end Italian fabrics detailed with precious stones. Miami import, Julian Chang, presented inspired looks from the cool Miami lifestyle all presented by Betinnis Fashions in Brea.
The high-end handbags featured on the Catwalk was the focus of local success story Jamah by Orange County designer Nancy Gale, who spearheaded the In True Fashion journey developed to educate teams of high school students as they participate in the luxury brand’s manufacturing process from design to physical fruition of a product. The program exposes them to every aspect of running a business including strategic planning, project management, time management, branding, marketing and promotion.
The Orange County Performing Ballet Theatre features a compelling performance as models debut on the catwalk who make-up will astound by Manna Kadar Cosmetics, and hair by the emerging stylists of the Paul Mitchell The School Costa Mesa. The day wraps up with Special Guest Speakers Dana Point Mayor Pro Tem, Lisa Bartlett, with opening words on the Press Launch, Wednesday, October 23rd at the St. Regis Monarch Beach featuring special guest Michelle Mock-Falcon the Casting Director of America’s Next Top Model.
