Laura has a fresh and seasonal take on her menu, which is inspired by a life of travel and love of food and flavors. When all of this is paired with a view from 17 stories up, it’s an amazing combination. Three of her favorite ingredients to work with are butter, goat cheese, and lemon.
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and UC Santa Cruz, Chef Jill Davie has won numerous accolades. Named a Top Ten Student of the Year at the CIA and presented with the Food and Wine Baby Chef award by Julia Child just out of school, Chef Davie was already rapidly on her way to a stellar career.
Executive Pastry Chef Stephanie Boswell joined the restaurant with extensive experience in award-winning kitchens, showcases a varied selection of exquisite and whimsical creations. Dishes like Pear Flaugnarde and Inspired Baklava draw inspiration from old world classics but with a contemporary twist.
Helmed by chef/partner Nina Clemente, most recently at The Standard in LA, the casual counter and takeaway spot offers focaccia with seasonal accompaniments inspired by those Nina grew up eating during her childhood visits to Italy.
She is inspired by baking with her mother as a child and attended school in Seattle before relocating to Southern California where she began her career working with famed chef Suzanne Goin in the kitchen at Lucques, as a pastry cook. Kirk has received rave reviews for her inventive Americana takes on dessert and her spin on Italian street-food favorites.
n/naka has been ten years in the making and is the expansion of Niki’s previous endeavors, applying the artistic and technical notions of kaiseki to create an ever-evolving seasonal narrative within each meal.
Finding her stride within Boneyard Bistro’s barbecue-focused kitchen as a line cook, Abell earned a promotion to chef de cuisine after six years, and now sits at the helm as executive chef as of January 2017.
Growing up in Los Angeles, Merhej would play sous to her father and grandmother as they’d prepare Middle Eastern dishes that paid homage to their Lebanese heritage, and then the whole family would gather to enjoy the resulting feast together. In 2014, she opened Love & Salt with Fiorelli and Guy & Sylvie Gabrielle.
Over the course of her career, Ashley has served A-list celebrities such as Britney Spears, Vince Vaughn and Donald Trump, and held positions in various kitchens throughout the Los Angeles and the South Bay area, including The Hollywood Bowl and Trump National Golf Course in Palos Verdes.
