The California Riviera is no stranger to luxury or style and this year’s Orange County Fashion Week (OCFW) will exude both those traits during its full week of events. OCFW will begin with World of Fashion Photography Exhibit on Friday, February 27th and culminating in the Couture Designer event at Dawson Fine Art on Thursday, March 5th.
Each night holds something magical and fashionable, beginning at 6 p.m. with cocktails. Showtime on the runway begins at 7 p.m., with after-parties at 10 p.m..

PREMIERE OF PANDEMONIUM: THE WORLD OF FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY

OCFW begins in style at Newport Lexus, where the OC Fashion Council will honor the vital role fashion photographers play in the industry with an exhibit, cocktail reception and awards presentation. Featuring leading fashion photographers’ works, as well as multimedia displays and live music, the Pandemonium event promises to be as fashionable as the artwork on display. And since it provides the perfect backdrop to the OCFW, the Pandemonium exhibit will remain on display for the entire week.

NIGHT TWO | SUGAR RUSH
Presented by Newport Lexus Newport Beach . Saturday, February 28th from 6-9 p.m.
A smash hit last year, Sugar Rush returns to make tidal waves with its all-new lineup of resort-wear collections. Outgrowing its 2014 Laguna Beach venue, OCFW and Newport Lexus have stepped things up a notch – or four – with an elite new runway at Newport Lexus that will host new eye-candy collections in Resort Wear, Bikinis, Gems and Jewels. Now four times the size of its origins, Sugar Rush has the capacity to wow 1, 500 with its stellar new location and catwalk. Darya after-party prevails Hidden Gems at their fabulous restaurant to follow at 9:45 am Charity Spotlight: Working Wardrobes was nominated by the OC Fashion Council for its role in the Orange County charitable community and is this year’s Sugar Rush Charity Spotlight. A portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit this worthy cause.

NIGHT THREE | FIT4THEFLY

With Fit4TheFly, the outdoor event will introduce new active and sportswear designers and their creations during an event that represents the OC Fashion Council’s dedication to promoting collaboration between seasoned professionals and the industry’s future leaders. Twenty Eight after-party prevails all-new streetwear lounge shortly thereafter promising to be one of the freshest nights of Fashion Week, Twenty Eight Restaurant and Lounge will host the stylish after-party, featuring the head-chef Shirley Chung, whose signature dishes with California flavors and cuisines from all over the world.

NIGHT FOUR | FASHIONISTA NOW BOARDING
Presented by Vespa Newport Italian, hosted by Manna Kadar Cosmetics and Betinnis in Brea Costa Mesa . Monday, March 2nd from 6-9 p.m.
Special Guests host the Panel of Blogging Forum following a four-minute active roundtable, stylists, bloggers, and movers and shakers of the fashion industry will host a club-like atmosphere at Vespa Newport Italian during which they share details on the latest in trends and trade secrets. Following the symposium, Betinnis in Brea and Manna Kadar Cosmetics will present special guests as ‘Fashionista Now Boarding’ and “Four Minutes to Fabulous.”

A PRIVATE INVITATIONAL. Tuesday, March 3rd from 6-9 p.m.
HAUTECH Menswear and the Digital Age of Technology Returns. This night will be dedicated to Menswear and Wearable in the industries, with a cutting edge display of the evolution in social technology and the stylish products they inspire. It all hits the catwalk in a fashionable futurama of style.

NIGHT SIX | AVANT-GARDE HOUSE OF STYLE
Presented by ANQI by CRUSTACEAN. Costa Mesa, Wednesday, March 4th starting at 10 p.m.
OC FASHION WEEK has outgrown the capacity of the award-winning fashion restaurant AnQi, whose showcase featured eclectic designers that astounded crowd amidst collections that debuted on its signature 60-foot glass runway. OCFW will celebrate the importance of avant-garde fashion, which has pushed the boundaries in popular culture such as movies – Jean Paul Gaultier’s costumes in the Fifth Element, for instance – and music – world sensation Lady Gaga by hosting it in true “House of Style.” The evening will feature local and international designers pushing the limits with avant-garde fashion creations that challenge the imagination and advance the art of fashion. It’s a not-to-miss event for anyone interested in the past and future of fashion. Charity Spotlight goes to Hidden Warriors a fascinating project dedicated to having cancer victims debut in the ultimate make-over of their lives to reveal the hidden warrior within through Avant-Garde, this epic show is a compelling force of both fashion and humanity and how it is transcended through art. We can hardly wait. A Portion of the show proceeds benefit Hidden Warrior.

NIGHT SEVEN | COUTURE

Once again, the amazing sculpture garden provides the perfect backdrop for the finale of OCFW, where master artisans display their one-of-a-kind, handcrafted couture creations. Modeled by the Orange County Ballet Theater, accompanied by special guest Tabitha Violinist, these elite designers will surely turn heads.
The evening’s charity spotlight this season is dedicated to JDRF. JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF’s goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, regulatory influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D. A portion of the OC Fashion Week Couture one-day ticket event will be donated to this wonderful cause and a also a portion of proceeds donated from the sale of any artwork at Dawson Cole Fine Art will be given to JDRF.
