Here in Orange County, we’re able to make our out-of-state relatives ache in jealousy with our warm summer evenings and the opportunity to dine outdoors without a sweater. So, this summer take advantage of these opportunities! From July to August your days spent outdoors can extend into the evening with Hotel Irvine’s “Movie Nights in The Backyard.” Watch films on the lawn on a huge screen, while picnicking with friends and family. There is also a large variety of new events to choose from as well, featuring deals on appetizers and drinks. Hotel Irvine offers summer fun for everyone, families and happy hour-goers alike!

Movie Nights in The Backyard
Grab your crew—or a date—a picnic blanket, and $5 (admission) and get ready to watch some classic films on a 16-foot outdoor movie screen. To make it easy on yourselves, you can even pre-order a picnic from Marketplace or enjoy the chef’s outdoor buffet offering fresh burgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, summer sides and movie snacks. Grab a glass of wine to top off your snacks, sit back, and enjoy the summer sky and a film.

Burgers & Brews at EATS Kitchen & Bar
Saturdays in July and August
On Saturdays, grab a cold beer and gourmet burger dinner for only $9 at EATS Kitchen & Bar. Pick a beer and any burger on the menu or try Chef Jason’s weekly off-the-wall creation. These farm fresh ingredients and Chef Jason’s international inspiration will have you salivating for more and more of the unique and delicious burgers. For example, the K Burger boasts miso onions, kimchi pickles, gochujang ketchup, and black garlic aioli. Dine on the patio, and enjoy!
Summertime Beer Series
Summer Beer Series takes place inside EATS or on EATS’ patio outside, depending on the weather for the day. These events pair California craft beers with a five-course menu created by Chef Jason. For only $75 per person, these interactive dinners are perfect for foodies and beer enthusiasts alike. Be sure to make reservations at [email protected], space is limited to 30 guests per dinner!
