Q: Who are some of your own inspirations?
Tamra Judge: Kelly Ripa, Michelle Obama, Carrie Underwood, and Jesus.
Q: You seem to have a really busy schedule, between running Cut Fitness, fitness training for competition, shooting “Real Housewives of OC,” and being a mom. How do you balance everything and stay focused?
TJ: It’s not always easy and I’m often overwhelmed. I am the type of person that needs to stay extremely busy or my mind wanders in a million different directions. I start my day at 4:30 a.m. just so I can get everything done. I’m trying to get more organized and finally hire an assistant. Let’s just say it’s not one of my strong points.
Q: What’s next? Do you plan on creating more, building more, or extending your current businesses?
TJ: Our goal is to expand CUT Fitness. I’m working on a fitness app so people around the world can ‘Train like Tamra,’ writing a book on fitness, and hopefully moving forward with my fitness line.
Q: Do you feel like your appearance on RHOC has helped you launch your business further or do you feel like it would have still been as successful even without the show?
TJ: I definitely think that showing our business on RHOC has got the word out there and helped us: it’s our job to keep them here.
Q: What work habits or ethics do you hope to pass on to your kids and grandkids?
TJ: My kids see me working my butt off! I get up early to work out before they even get out of bed and back home to take them to school. I’m at the studio or filming until they get out of school, homework, sports, and dinner. I believe kids are a product of their environment—I watched my dad do the same thing, and I believe that is where I got my drive.
