For a quick bite to refuel—I love A Market. They have the best sandwiches, and I love their fresh salads in the cold case.
My roommates and I discovered Felix Continental Café at Orange Circle while looking for a Taco Tuesday place after class one day. Felix’s is Cuban… We didn’t have any tacos (or regrets!) and now it’s a tradition to go back at least once a month!
Mid-week movies are my guilty pleasure! I usually watch one at Starlight Theater at The Triangle and grab dinner afterwards—there are so many great restaurants around there.
Kean Coffee is my go-to for a caffeine fix. I meet there with potential H2H sponsors and investors as well—the vibe is perfect for a business meeting.
Baja Sharkeez is my favorite dive bar in Newport. Truth be told, some of my best ideas for H2H resulted during a fun and productive informal brainstorm session with my classmates!
Contrary to popular belief, I’m not working 24/7! I love whale watching with my family at Newport Landing. We usually go grab lunch along the water afterwards—The Crab Cooker is a favorite. It’s the perfect opportunity to unwind before a long, busy week.
The Health 2 Humanity team has to meet on the weekends to discuss business, but that doesn’t mean we can’t play a little! One of our favorite spots is Ruby’s Diner at Balboa Pier. The views are unbeatable, and there’s something for everyone on the menu.
