Monday

I like to start the week off right with a great cup of coffee at Koffi in Rancho Mirage. They have an exposition roaster on site, and you can watch the organic green beans being roasted right in front of you. It’s quite the process and makes you appreciate what goes into making a great cup of coffee. At night, I’m off to Trivia and drink over at the Ace Hotel with Bella the Ball!

Tuesday

Grab a late lunch at TKB Bakery in Indio. Best sandwich: The Hangover, with crunched up Fritos in it! Then off to the movies at the new Cinemark Theaters in La Quinta for luxury lounger seating.

Wednesday

My favorite day to go to the Rancho Mirage Library. It’s open late on Wednesdays and has the best views and nicest library I’ve ever been to. I spent many days working on my business plan doing research here. Plus I enjoy the fresh bread and sandwiches from Aspen Mills. A sandwich shop and library in one.

Thursday

Sometimes I take a mini stay-cation, and one of my favorites is the Avalon. Great spa day, and I enjoy the cocktails and the nosh from Chi-Chi’s while at the pool. Plus, I love the people-watching there. Such an LA hideaway—if only the walls had ears! Then off to happy hour at Eight4Nine, for the hot dog sliders.

Friday

Right after work, I head over to Tropicale for the Peanut Butter Martini. Seriously, you will love this, especially if you get the bartender Alex to make it for you. He has the secret ingredient.  Later that night, Carnival Cabaret. A fun female impersonator show that is different every time you go. Gypsy works the crowd, and the Liza & Whitney are some of the best ever. Great place to take guests for a PS Weekend!

Saturday

Shopping on El Paseo. I love to go through the cookbooks in Williams-Sonoma, all the new seasonal items to prepare, look at the new Tesla’s and then make it over to Trestle for unique design ideas and housewares. And of course a stop at Tiffany’s.

Sunday

To wind down the week, I look forward to The Venue Sushi & Saki Lounge. Engin prepares the most beautiful creations. My favorite is the Langostino roll with little tempura nuggets of langostino on top of a roll, an order of crispy Brussels sprouts, and his new truffle mussels. This is good living.
