Orange County Gets Ready for Its Ninth Annual Restaurant Week

Foodies rejoice! It’s that time again—Orange County Restaurant Week will run from March 5-11. The nine year anniversary of this celebration will host prix-fixe menus at 100 of the most delicious restaurants that Orange County has to offer. Who doesn’t love amazing food at prices that will make you happier than happy hour? All lunch menus will be priced from $10-$20, and dinners will range from $20-$50. So grab your friends, family, or a date, and head over to your favorite restaurant to get the special treatment you deserve.


Angelina’s Pizzeria Napoletana – Lunch $20, Dinner $30

Angelina’s Pizzeria Napoletana will be serving up a three-course meal for lunch and dinner! If your foodie sense brings you Angelina’s way, be sure to order the Pizza Margherita for lunch or the Penne al Sugo con Polpette for dinner. You won’t want to skip out on the dessert either! With options like tiramisu, your tastebuds will be thanking you. Pro tip: be sure to note the differences in menu items for each location! For example, the Irvine location is offering the Insalata di polipo in addition to the other entrees served at Dana Point.

Silver Trumpet Restaurant and Bar – Lunch $20, Dinner $40

Silver Trumpet will be offering its Restaurant Week diners an entree and dessert for lunch, and a three-course meal for dinner. Stop by for lunch to try their Grass Fed Flat Iron Steak or the Red Currant Yogurt Cake with vanilla ice cream and fig compote. If you come by later in the evening, be sure to try the Pan-Roasted Scallops with creamy polenta, wild mushrooms, herb brioche crumbs, sauce Vierge.

Five Crowns – Dinner $50

Looking for a unique place to dine? Check out Five Crowns for an English-style experience. Serving up all sorts of delicious menu items, Five Crowns makes for a great dinner option! With three different types of appetizers, entrees, and desserts to choose from, these items will satisfy anyone’s cravings. One taste of their Grilled Ribeye Medallion, and you will not be disappointed in your choice of restaurant.

La Vida Cantina – Dinner $30

When’s the last time you had a churro? If it’s not two seconds ago, you probably are craving another one. La Vida Cantina can fix you up! With entrees like the La Vida Burrito with grilled Angus steak, sautéed onions, tomatoes, refried beans, cheese and salsa fresca all wrapped up in a flour tortilla and topped with red and green enchilada sauce, cotija cheese, avocado, salsa fresca and drizzle with Mexican cream, that goes wonderfully with a $5 house margarita and a churro to end your night.

Splashes Restaurant – Lunch $20, Dinner $50

If the sea is calling your name, head over to Splashes Restaurant in the Surf and Sand Resort to answer it. With several seafood options like the Crisp Octopus or the Sauteed King Salmon, Splashes offers fresh and delicious seafood for fish lovers. More of a meat eater? Not a problem! Splashes offers meat and seafood options for both meals, like the Grilled Niman Ranch Pork Chop.

Lighthouse Bayview Café – Lunch $15, Dinner $30

Dinner and a view? Yes, please! Lighthouse Bayview Café overlooks the bay in Newport Beach, and has several mouth-watering options for both lunch and dinner. This Orange County Restaurant Week, Lighthouse Bayview Café’s menu includes items like the Blue Crab Fritters with crab louis mayo, jalapeño, avocado, and cilantro. Or take a trip to New Orleans and try their Cinnamon Sugar Beignets for dessert.

Back Bay Bistro – Lunch $20, Dinner $40

Looking to get your drink on?  Back Bay Bistro offers a glass of house wine or draft beer included in their Orange County Restaurant Week menus! For lunch, select any entrée, sandwich, or entrée salad from their lunch menu, and for dinner, you can do the same with their dinner menu. Pair your meal with a cup of Seafood Chowder of the day, or a bistro or caesar salad for either meal.

North Italia – Lunch $20, Dinner $40

Prosciutto Bruschetta, Chicken Pesto, Red Wine Glazed Short Rib…hungry yet? North Italia’s menu offers its diners a lunch and dinner menu that reads like a love letter to your stomach.  The Arancini, for instance, has crispy mushroom risotto stuffed with scamorza cheese and served with red sauce. For dessert, try a gelato or sorbet that’s locally made!

Enjoy your Mexican food in a vacation inspired restaurant!  Red O’s beautiful interior is the perfect setting to enjoy wonderful Mexican food at reasonable prices.
