We’ve put together a list of LA’s hottest V-Day spots, so you can ditch the heart-shaped box of chocolates and share an unforgettable evening in one of the most picturesque settings the west coast has to offer. 


1 | Fia Valentine’s Day Los Angeles

From the intimate vintage interior to the charming outdoor dining area that’s lit by twinkling lights, the ambiance of Fia is right on par with its culinary magic. Inspired by Amalfi Coast cuisine, Chef Brendan Collins offers traditional favorites like Hamachi and Branzino. He’s also crafted an exclusive Valentine’s seven-course tasting menu, featuring a fettuccine with oysters and champagne sauce that is sure to amaze! This special menu is available Friday, Feb. 14 and Saturday, Feb. 15 for $140 per person.

2 | Citrin Valentine’s Day Los Angeles

Atmospheric and artful, Citrin offers an upscale dining experience like no other. Legendary LA Chef Josiah Citrin has a special seven-course Valentine’s tasting menu in store, including favorites like lobster risotto and Japanese yellowtail hamachi. Enjoy the curated menu this Valentine’s Day for $195 per person and a slightly abridged version the following Saturday and Sunday for $145 per person.

Calabra, the rooftop lounge at the Santa Monica Proper Hotel, will offer a Mediterranean inspired 3-course feast for two for $220; a la carte pricing will also be available. While enjoying beautiful views of both the city and ocean, diners can enjoy Calabra favorites, including Mediterranean dips, oysters and Alaskan crab legs. Finish with delicious desserts including dark chocolate cake and Greek yogurt panna cotta.

4 | The Strand House Valentine’s Day Los Angeles

Nothing says romance like a dreamy ocean view. The Strand House is a Manhattan Beach gem that offers upscale dining in an idyllic setting. Enjoy a four-course Valentine’s Day dinner for $150 per person, as you take in the ocean breeze and watch the sunset. This menu will offer a variety of selections, including black truffle ricotta cavatelli, Maine lobster ravioli, a chocolate passion fruit torte and more!

5 | Openaire Valentine’s Day Los Angeles

Floor-to-ceiling windows and lush greenery gently beckon you into the chic open space that is Openaire. Chef Josiah Citrin delivers yet another exceptional atmosphere and menu that is sure to leave a lasting impression. Share a four-course tasting menu with your sweetheart for $99 per person. Chef Cintrin’s hamachi with winter citrus, Maine lobster and pea agnolotti are included, and a wine pairing is available for $40 per person.

6 | Manuela Valentine’s Day Los Angeles

Located in the Hauser & Wirth art complex, Manuela is known for its unique a la carte menu. In addition to this daily menu, Chef Kris Tominaga will be offering up a variety of luxury southern specials like hotcakes and caviar, shrimp butter and sea urchin toast points, onion petals and deviled crab and bone-in dry-aged ribeye with black garlic and housemade Worcestershire. These exclusive items can be enjoyed on Valentine’s Day only.

7 | Patina

Simplistic, yet deliciously tasteful can describe both the cuisine and atmosphere at Patina. Start off your five-course Valentine’s Day menu with Tsar Nicoulai Caviar, truffle vinaigrette and nasturtium, then finish the night with a stroll through the buzzing neighborhood of Downtown LA. This select menu is offered from Friday, Feb. 14 through Sunday, Feb. 16 for $130 per person.

8 | Nick + Stef’s Steakhouse 

Food is great and all, but can we get a drink, please? Chef Megan Logan hears you, and in addition to her secret Valentine’s dessert and acclaimed dry-aged steaks, she’s concocted a Hot Love cocktail with Absolut strawberry, St. Germain, Thai chili syrup, lime juice and Peychaud’s bitters. Get one of these love potions for $16 or maybe two…or three.
