8 Items to Taste at California Adventure Food & Wine Festival Before It’s Too Late!

A Ton of Tasty Food and Drink Options Will Soon Leave California Adventure

Written By: Tamara Philips California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

Disney California Adventure’s Food & Wine Festival amazes our taste buds once again, but you don’t have much time left to experience the foodie paradise! Be sure to snag a ticket (or come if you’re an annual passholder) before April 16. If California Adventure isn’t fun enough on its own, the Food & Wine Festival will knock your socks off with live entertainment like the Mariachi Divas and Streetlight Cadence, culinary demonstrations with chefs like Evan Stanley of Santa Monica Seafood, Top Chef’s Brian Malarkey and more!

No foodie festival would be complete without trying some new and unique dishes. With so many tempting flavors at the various kiosks, it will surely be difficult to choose which you’d like, but somehow we managed to narrow down this list to eight items you must try. Think you can fit all of these in your belly? Accept the challenge and enjoy!

French Onion Mac and Cheese

At “The Onion Lair” kiosk, this cheesy dish marries the sweet onion taste of the classic French onion soup with the kids’ favorite mac n’ cheese. Who says adults can’t enjoy mac n’ cheese too? This is adult and kid approved!

Creamy Artichoke and Dark Chocolate Cake Pop

Okay, I know what you’re thinking – but trust me on this one, this duo of the chocolate and artichoke tastes decadent with a pistachio topping. It’s even better while sipping a cabernet. This cake pop is found at the “I Heart Artichokes” kiosk.

Grilled Beef Tenderloin Slider

Grab a beer from the beer garden and bite into this delicious slider from the “Garlic Kissed” kiosk. With a warm garlic chimichurri sauce, this is the perfect amount of garlic kick for the beef tenderloin. Warning – you may need a couple of these.

Brie Toast

This is no ordinary piece of cheese and toast that you’ll find at the “Nuts about Cheese” kiosk. It is topped with brie, fig, mint, and roasted California almond crumble. The sweet fig is the perfect complement to the brie and the mint ties it all together. Pair this with a chardonnay!

Jackfruit Nachos

This is an incredibly tasty Vietnamese take on a Friday night favorite. The jackfruit has a soy sauce base that gives your mouth a pleasant surprise when biting into this crema-topped dish. Pair with a beer and your taste buds will thank you. You can find these nachos at the “Off the Cob” kiosk.

Beer Flight

A highlight of the festival is the beer flight. The beer garden features a variety of local breweries that you can try like Anaheim Brewery, Backstreet Brewery, Noble Ale Works, Bottle Logic Brewing, Unsung Brewery Co. and more! There’s live entertainment in the garden and wooden picnic tables, so grab a flight and take a load off!

Baked Ham & Swiss Cheese Croque Monsieur Roll

Another from the “Nuts About Cheese” kiosk, this croque monsieur roll is to die for. There’s nothing like some salty and smoky ham to pair with a mellow swiss cheese. Topped with smoked pistachios, you’ll keep going back for more.

Salmon Tataki

For seafood fare, head to the “Seafood…Sustained” kiosk. You’ll find cage-free cream cheese deviled eggs with smoked trout, passion fruit posset and coconut chia with mango-passion compote, and lastly, the Verlasso sustainable salmon tataki – it’s delicious and topped with an avocado wasabi puree.
