The Angels Express Train Is Back!

After a five-year hiatus, we're thrilled for the return of Metrolink's Angels Express! Whether you're a die-hard Angels fan or just love the atmosphere of a live game, our Angels Express trains are your hassle-free pass to the heart of the action.

Ride for Only $10

For just $10, you can catch a round-trip ride on the Angels Express to scheduled weekend home games and select midweek games this season. Up to three little angels aged 17 and under ride free with each paying adult.

Angels Express Schedule

The Angels Express provides roundtrips from LA Union Station, Riverside-Downtown, and Oceanside* to Anaheim Station (ARTIC) along the OC and IEOC Lines on Friday - Sunday home games, plus select midweek games against the Los Angeles Dodgers (these will operate on the weekday schedule):

  • Tuesday, March 26, 2024, 6:07 p.m.
  • Tuesday, September 3, 2024, 6:38 p.m.
  • Wednesday, September 4, 2024, 6:38 p.m.

Train Departures

Angels Express trains will depart Anaheim Station 30 minutes after the final out.

On Saturday Night Fireworks, trains will depart 30 minutes after the fireworks show.

Important note: In the event of extra innings or a game running long, all trains will depart no later than 11:00 p.m. on weekday and Saturday games, and no later than 6:00 p.m. on Sunday games.

Friday and Saturday game start time is 6:38pm, and Sunday game start time is 1:07pm.

April 27-28 Advisory

Tracks on the OC Line will be closed between Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo and Oceanside on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28. Angels Express trains will only run as far south as the Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo Station.

Purchase on the Metrolink Mobile App with Anaheim as a destination or origin, then select Angels Express as your ticket type. Remember to activate your mobile app ticket prior to boarding the train.

FAQ

The Angels Express trains provide service to Anaheim Station (ARTIC) for home games at Angels Stadium on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the 2024 season. The Angels Express provides service to three additional midweek games at Angels Stadium against the Los Angeles Dodgers on:  

  • Tuesday, March 26, 2024, 6:07 p.m. 
  • Tuesday, September 3, 2024, 6:38 p.m. 
  • Wednesday, September 4, 2024, 6:38 p.m. 

$10 per adult (round-trip). Up to three children ages 17 and under can ride free per paying adult. 

The Angels Express ticket will be available for purchase on game days through the Metrolink mobile app or on ticket machines at stations. 

 

Metrolink Mobile App 

Angels Express mobile tickets can be purchased through the Metrolink Mobile App on game day by selecting Anaheim as either the origin or destination station. Tickets must be activated before boarding the train. The free app is available for download through Google Play or Apple App Store. 

 

Ticket Machine 

Angels Express tickets can be purchased on game day from any ticket machine located at all stations along the 91/PV, OC, and IEOC lines. Select the “Special Ticket” option on the home screen and then the “Angels Express” ticket option. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before train departure to have ample time to purchase tickets. 

No. The Angels Express ticket is valid for travel to and from Anaheim Station (ARTIC) only on game days when the Angels Express is in service.

Once you exit the train at Anaheim Station (ARTIC), walk west on the platform toward the Angel Stadium parking lot. Exit the platform via stairs or a ramp and walk south toward Angel Stadium. This is approximately a 15–20-minute walk.

On Friday, Sunday and special midweek games, trains will depart Anaheim Station 30 minutes after the last out.

After Saturday games, trains will depart 30 minutes after the postgame fireworks show, or the last out if there is no fireworks show.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In the event of extra innings or a game running long, all trains will depart no later than 11:00 p.m. on weekday and Saturday games, and no later than 6:00 p.m. on Sunday games.
