Get Your Taco Fix at This New Mexican Restaurant in Huntington Beach
Puesto’s authentic, award-winning Mexican cuisine has taken California by the sombrero since opening its first location in La Jolla in 2012. Family-owned and operated by first-generation Mexican Americans, Puesto is an innovative approach to authentic Mexican flavors, led by a Michelin team of culinary talent. Adding to their Orange County locations, Puesto will be joining the picturesque Bella Terra outdoor shopping center in Huntington Beach this month. What to Expect: Puesto Huntington Beach
The Bella Terra location, opening April 23, will encompass a raw and earthy feel to compliment the Huntington Beach culture, complete with a “wave wall.” The organic vibe will flow from the decor to the kitchen, where Puesto’s handmade, non-GMO and organic blue corn stone-ground tortillas, organic jidori chicken, sustainable meats, Baja and local line-caught seafood, local produce and scratch salsas will be prepared.

Known for award-winning tacos wrapped in crispy melted cheese, Puesto’s Executive Chef & Partner Luisteen Gonzalez brings the vibrant art and culture of his native Mexico City. Each taco has its own flavor palate, encouraging guests to try them all!

Puesto’s craft bar program is led by Bar and Spirits Creative Director Beau du Bois, who, prior to joining the Puesto family, comes from Napa Valley’s three Michelin Starred eatery, The Restaurant at Meadowood.
For the ultimate tasting, Puesto offers flights of their curated list of agave spirits (tequilas, mezcals, sotols, bacanoras and raicillas) that are sourced from throughout Mexico. The beer selection features its own Mexican Lager, Mexican Amber and Mexican Negra Lager, as well as a rotating seasonal beer, all brewed at the Puesto Cervecería in Mission Valley, San Diego by veteran brewmaster Doug Hasker.
