I run the fitness and lifestyle community, Love Sweat Fitness, where I get to inspire hundreds of thousands of women to live their best lives every single day through my blog, YouTube and Instagram. Having gone through my own 45-pound weight loss and lifestyle transformation, I’ve learned what it takes to truly find a healthy balance. Nothing makes me happier than getting outside with my girlfriends for a good workout, a little shopping and, of course, some delicious food! Fashion Island is the perfect spot to hit all three and still enjoy those sunshine Cali vibes.

Zadig & Voltaire

It may be a cheat day, but I still made sure to get a workout in first thing this morning. I knew I’d be trying on clothes and wanted to feel good. I started my day shopping at Zadig & Voltaire. I love how they take French fashion and mix it with a little California rock ‘n’ roll. I’ve always loved shoes and they always have the raddest designs! They even make sneakers with studs and patches to make my athleisure next level.

Rebecca Taylor

My style always changes a little with the seasons, and spring and summer is all about Rebecca Taylor! I headed there next to stock up for all the summer parties I have this month. She mixes flirty silhouettes with a femme-cool edge. I absolutely love their fun prints and patterns to help me break up my leggings and sports bra-filled days. My favorite thing about this shop is that they are all about sneakers with dresses, which is a win in this fitness girl’s book.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

After hitting a few more stores we headed over to Fleming’s for a late lunch. Shopping and hunger do not mix for me, and they have amazing fresh seafood and delish cocktails, which always makes shopping more fun. Fleming’s just redid their outdoor patio and there is really no bad time of year to enjoy outdoor dining in California.

lululemon

Shopping at lululemon after a drink is always a dangerous combo for me. I might have gone a little overboard on the legging shopping, but I basically live in athleisure so it’s okay! If you haven’t visited the new lululemon space, you need to—stat! It is gorgeous. As if I needed another reason to buy more athleisure, but they’re so good! I bought my first pair of lululemon leggings seven years ago and still wear them to this day.

ASICS

Of course after buying leggings I had to hit up ASICS for some cute, new shoes. It’s a cheat day, right? They have always been one of my favorite running shoes (they’re seriously the best!), but their summer colors and new lines are really bringing functionality and fashion together. I love that I can finally find a shoe that looks cute, but is also super comfortable.

CUCINA enoteca

After shopping all day it was time for happy hour with the girls! We headed to CUCINA enoteca for wine and cheese! That is one thing I always have to remind people—life is about balance! You can absolutely reach your fitness goals and still have fun along the way! CUCINA was one of the first restaurants I ever ate at when I moved from San Diego to the OC, and it’s still one of my absolute favorites! They’re a California-inspired Italian kitchen that features classics made with fresh, local produce, and organic and sustainable ingredients. Basically everything you need to #LiveGuiltless while you splurge a little.

Native Knowledge: CUCINA enoteca uses seasonal produce from local farms in their dishes, but many of their cocktails are made with fruits and herbs harvested from their own gardens.
