Mai Tai, Burgers, Leis and Bay Views…There’s Nothing Better!

If you’ve been missing your favorite restaurants and events, then a day trip to Billy’s at the Beach is in your future! May 1-2 are Lei Day in Hawaii, and Billy’s is bringing this custom to the mainland with Get Lei’d at Billy’s! Hula over to this celebration in Newport Beach and get a piece of the Honolulu action. Drooling over their mai tais is optional but likely! Lei Day Orange County

Since its grand opening over 20 years ago, Billy’s at the Beach has been a Newport Beach staple. With its famous mai tais, burgers and unique Aloha Packs—a pairing of burgers and drinks included in the price—this bayside spot has become a favorite for locals and visitors alike. And when it comes to getting “lei’d” this May, all are welcome! This one-of-a-kind event only requires a hearty appetite and aloha spirit.

The tradition of Lei Day originated in Hawaii as a celebration and symbol of Hawaiian culture. Over the course of two days, there is often a ceremony of hula dancing, music and lei-making for attendees. May 1 and 2 are the dates of this festive celebration, and Billy’s is following that tradition with their two-day event. Come by either day to get an exclusive Lei Day special!

Stop in and enjoy a burger, mai tai and receive a fresh lei for $35. However, with a menu that offers dishes like mouthwatering coconut shrimp, BBQ ribs and pupu platters, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from if a burger doesn’t appeal to you.

If you’re ready to celebrate Lei Day, then stop by to get a true sense of the Hawaiian spirit. Where do you aloha? We’ll be at Billy’s for a mini mental vacation (…and a few mai tais). It’s time to get lei’d
