Home to amazing biscuits, Chicken Fried Bacon, Pot Roast Sandwiches, delicious burgers, and, of course, the winner of “Hell’s Kitchen” Season 12, Chef Scott Commings.

Q: You were the winner of Hell’s Kitchen Season 12. Can you describe Gordon Ramsey in a few words?

Scott Commings: Gordon Ramsay is an incredible individual. The poise and determination and sheer perfection he carries with him is truly inspirational. Phenomenal character in every aspect.

Q: You were praised as an artist on the show for your plating skills. How important is presentation to a meal in your opinion?

SC: We first eat with our eyes. It is first important to put out an incredible product, but a close second is putting out a product that looks above and beyond expectation.

Q: What menu items did you create for the Downtown Grand that best reflect your style?

SC: I truly put my heart and taste buds into everything I create, I am proud of how we cut zero corners in the way in which we construct each dish.

Q: What menu item have you created that you could easily eat every day for the rest of your life?

SC: I have to admit the chicken wings are a true pleasure. We put a lot of time into putting out a spectacular product; from the 24-hour brine to the slow smoke, and then the tang of the sauce; everything comes together fantastically! I can’t help but say I would gladly eat them every day.
