The San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival is fast approaching and you will soon get your chance to be a part of an unforgettable day filled with excitement, great food and great drinks. The festival is an international showcase of the world’s best, as the name suggests, wine and food. This citywide tasting experience goes on from Nov. 12-19 packed with over 40 tasting experiences across the city. Let us explain why you should get yourself a ticket as soon as possible.

A week of extravagance, cooking classes, chef dinners, expeditions and multiple events all jump off with the festival’s legendary Grand Tasting on Saturday, Nov. 18, featuring over 200 wineries, breweries and spirits from around the world and 60 of San Diego’s best chefs and restaurateurs. With all the options available at the Grand Tasting, this event should be referred to as a ‘feastival.’ Plus, you’re in luck because all-inclusive packages are available that offer savings, hotel accommodations, and admission to food and wine festival’s premiere events. But wait, there’s more! The weekend long food and wine festival raises funds for Fast Forward Futures, which awards culinary, enology and hospitality scholarships to San Diego County students and professionals seeking to further their careers in these disciplines.

Here some SD Bay Wine & Food events to get excited for:

Fish Taco TKO

For only $45, you can be part of this fish taco battle royal. No punches are pulled here as chefs go head-to-head as they attempt to ‘wow’ your taste buds into naming them as the best. If I’ve already got you hooked on the idea of chefs attempting to make the very best fish taco just for you, then let me reel you in with a little bit more information. The event isn’t just tacos; there will also be unique beer and tequila stations alongside live music. Get ready to have a great time and attempt to dance along to the music because, let’s face it, we’ll have way too much food and alcohol in us to dance unhindered.
