How We Roll
We love sushi! Without fail, whenever we crave it, we order from Shiki Sushi in Studio City. Their crispy rice tuna is our favorite, but I have yet to try a roll that I didn’t like. The asahi roll comes in a very close second place, as it’s one that I always order too!
Away From LA
Newport Beach is one of our favorite places to head to when we need a quick getaway from LA. It’s family-friendly, there are plenty of places to eat and spots for the kids to be entertained. One of the restaurants that we always visit is Brodard Restaurant; they have the best grilled pork spring rolls.
Dinner Experience
We love a good Korean BBQ, and Baekjeong in Koreatown never disappoints. My daughter watches in awe as the food is being cooked at the table (we don’t let her touch the hot tools), and it’s always fun to enjoy the banchan (side dishes) as we wait for the food!
To the ‘Bu Dzung Lewis
We love taking day trips to the beach and recently discovered Zuma Beach in Malibu. It’s a huge stretch, and there’s always ample parking available. Before hitting the beach, we always stop by a nearby plaza and visit our favorite cafes, including Le Cafe de la Plage Malibu, Sunlife Organics and Lily’s.
A Day in the Life
I create content to help busy moms like me try to think of ideas to help make meals delicious yet easy for the family. I’m constantly being asked what I feed my kids, and we honestly feed them the same thing we eat, just in smaller portions and maybe a little less seasoned. I want to show that you don’t have to be a short-order cook for your picky eaters, and introducing them to a variety of foods will help them become better eaters and make your life easier too!
Get Your Greens
My dream is to grow my own culinary garden, and though I’ve never worked with them, I am a patron at Armstrong Garden Center—their employees are some of the best people! They’re always super supportive of my black thumb and make me feel like I can actually garden!
