The Eagles, a best-selling band of the 1970s, will be in Palm Desert on Feb. 24 at 8 p.m, taking the audience on a musical journey through their famous Hotel California album. Consider yourself one with the times? Make it official at Palm Springs’ Modernism Week, happening Feb. 16-26. This famous 11-day festival features over 350 different events taking place throughout the city, including the Palm Springs Modernism Show, tours of iconic homes, car shows and the popular Signature Home Tour on both weekends. Many of these events are reasonably priced or even free, offering visitors an inside look at vintage architecture. Culture and community come together in celebration at the Palm Springs Black History Parade & Town Fair, taking place on Saturday, Feb. 25. The parade marches down Palm Canyon Dr, and the town fair immediately follows at Downtown Park in Palm Springs. Come celebrate Black History Month at the city’s 36th annual celebration, featuring amazing community organizations, showstopping talent and vendors with mouthwatering food and finds! Don’t miss a beat—the parade starts at 11 a.m, and the fair to follow will end at 5 p.m.
