For years, local car aficionados have turned to the Maserati of San Diego for a buying experience that is as enjoyable as driving the car itself.
After spending 15 years in the heart of La Jolla, Maserati of San Diego has moved to a new, state-of-the-art facility in Kearny Mesa. By combining their sales and service teams at one central location, the new location will allow the locally-owned dealership to continue to provide the exceptional service they’ve come to be known for.
Owner Bill Story Sr., who has been enamored with luxury cars his entire life. The company has since grown to 14 dealerships and have added Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Maserati to their family of brands. Story Sr.’s son, Bill Story Jr. started working in the family business at a young age and has helped expand operations across Southern California. Just two years ago, Story Jr. took over as controlling manager for the company’s San Diego outposts and has maintained his family’s legacy of impeccable service and close ties to the community.
One of the company’s largest acts of community service is their annual Toy Drive, where they
collect toys and gifts for family members of local military servicemen and women. The Story family is also known for donating daily rentals and the use of luxury cars for events and fundraisers held around the San Diego area to support their customers’ local businesses.
