Find Out How You Can Nama-Slay in Long Beach

Ra Yoga Is Opening a Fourth Location in LB and We Are so Excited

Written By: Charlotte Farrell Ra Yoga Long Beach

Forget that “Nama-stay in bed” nonsense, because your favorite yoga spot is adding a new location to their lineup. RA Yoga is opening a fourth spot in Long Beach, bringing their unique brand of “Om” closer to Angelenos, and we are eagerly awaiting with mats in hand and every shade of leggings in line for the inaugural class. Ra Yoga Long Beach

The studio will be in the highly anticipated Long Beach Exchange, a new dining and retail experience that will open sometime in spring of this year. The studio will be 3,400-square-feet, drawing on inspiration from their Orange County locations while adapting to the urban-cool and beachy vibes of Long Beach. Think eclectic coastal mixed with elements like repurposed shipping containers that will act as the walls of the large yoga practice rooms, of which there will be two. “Long Beach’s culture and vibe meshes beautifully with our company culture. Ra has a bit of edginess, counterculture-ness, and blue collar-ness that will hopefully gel well with locals. Our goal at RA is always to bring the practice of yoga to more people, and what better place to do that than the currently underserved community of Long Beach.” – Robert Kittleman, Ra Yoga Co-Owner

Hop into one of the over 100 classes a week that RA will offer, and with a range of 14 styles to fit your skill level or intention. You can also expect a mix of heated and non-heated classes, group classes, educational workshops like kundalini, macramé classes and plant-based diet nutritional planning courses, as well as private training and childcare programs to keep the kiddos busy while you find some zen. Extra amenities include a meditation room and full-service men’s and women’s locker rooms to round out what will be an exceptional space to get centered in the hustle and bustle of LB.

If you find yourself in need of a bit of retail therapy, the studio will also feature a retail boutique with a wide selection of brands including Gold Sheep, Manduka, Jade Yoga, Beyond Yoga, Teeki, Onzie and Alo Yoga, just to name a few. Their signature clothing brand will also be on deck at the studio, so wrap yourself in one of their luxe sweatshirts, t-shirts and tank tops.

If you need a power snack after a Strength 2 class (we highly recommend trying it out), local treats and juice brands will be fully stocked, including Solti, bless∙ed booch, Phil’s Power Pancakes, Happy Dough and more.

Let the countdown begin!
