This past year, some of us just really wished we had a private jet. You know, skip the long airport lines, the cramped seats and having to arrive hours before take off. Just in time for traveling once again, Aero is launching in Los Angeles. This semi-private airline offers a new approach to first-class travel, reimagining the air travel experience from start to finish.

“At Aero, we believe that travel is essential to who we are as humans and to our wellbeing. This is an incredibly tough time for a lot of people, so we want to offer a radically better way to do that.”—Uma Subramanian, CEO of Aero Los Angeles to Aspen

Uma Subramanian, CEO of Aero, says, “At Aero, we believe that travel is essential to who we are as humans and to our wellbeing. This is an incredibly tough time for a lot of people, so we want to offer a radically better way to do that.”

On Feb. 4, Aero will launch their exclusive flights from Los Angeles to Aspen. Travelers will be able to skip crowded airports, fly private at a fraction of the cost and have a contactless experience. The company is starting with four flights a week in February at $990 (one-way). “Our goal is to help people fly and to make the experience part of the journey—holiday starts on the plane. LA to Aspen is one of the most popular flights that people fly, particularly in the winter. We’re here to offer a better service for those already going there,” explains Subramanian. Aero plans to expand with flights to Cabo, Sun Valley, Jackson Hole, Napa and other exciting destinations.

The beautifully designed planes exhibit a bespoke, chic design. With a total of 16 spots on the plane, the seats have about 2.5 seat lengths in between each of them, ideal for keeping distance between other people. Proof of a negative COVID-19 test is required before boarding flights. While other health and safety precautions are in place, tailored in-flight options are available at this time, ranging from alcoholic beverages to curated snacks.

“The LA traveler deserves some better options, and we are excited to be launching here. We are operational in Europe, as well, and look forward to seeing some of those same customers here in LA,” says Subramanian.

And with that, we’re headed to Aspen.  Los Angeles to Aspen
