As the weather gets warmer (a lot warmer!), cool down inside Five Crowns in Corona del Mar, with their freshly-announced summer menu courtesy of Executive Chef Alejandra Padilla. From their appetizers and drinks to their sweet-tasting dessert, Five Crowns’ new summer menu has your taste buds covered, with flavors ranging from salty to sweet. It will have your mouth watering before the waiter places your plate on the table.

Steak Tartare

What will you say you did this summer? Went to the beach? Took a little vacation? With appetizers at Five Crowns, you can tell everyone you ate raw meat! Try their Steak Tartare served on ciabatta bread with crispy shallots, arugula and truffle aioli.

 

Grilled Smoked Octopus

For those who desire seafood to begin their dining experience, Five Crowns’ Grilled Smoked Octopus is the perfect choice. Served with roasted fingerling potatoes and a chorizo vinaigrette, this will take your taste buds on an adventure.

Seared Salmon

In the summer season, it’s seafood’s time to shine. On the summer menu, you will find no shortage of delectable dishes from under the sea, including the seared salmon. Served with zucchini, eggplant, piquillos peppers, pine nuts and aged balsamic, Five Crowns brings their own twist to a classic favorite.

 

Squid Ink Pasta

Let’s face it—pasta is great in any season. Take a break from traditional marinara or alfredo sauce and dare to try the Squid Ink Pasta. The black linguini may look strange, but served with the lobster, charred corn, thai bird chili and white wine, you’ll easily order a second serving.
