Chris Milosch and Brock Meintel Share How They Created Their Amazing Cleaning Service

Q: How did you get started in the cleaning business?

Chris Milosch: We both graduated from Chico State with degrees in entrepreneurship and have been lifelong friends. We always talked about starting a business together and constantly have our eyes open for new opportunities. We noticed, that for the most part, cleaning companies were either family owned and operated or they were tech companies acting as a cleaning service, essentially a communication platform. We saw an opportunity in the middle where we could take some of the benefits of both scenarios and add even more value. The local aspect of it was appealing as well, having both grown up in South Orange County. We wanted to provide a quality service and give back to our community.

Q: What is the first thing you tell people about your service?

Brock Meintel: Communication is key! No two homes are exactly the same and everyone seems to have a different eye. Tell us what areas of your home are most important to you so that we can exceed your expectations. If we don’t get it 100 percent perfect the first time, let us know. It’s how we’ve built long standing relationships with our customers and how we continually improve our service.

Q: What makes SayClean different from other cleaning services in Orange County?

BM: It really comes down to reliability and accountability. We have 24-hour phone support, online quote request and text/email appointment reminders that let you know exactly who is coming to your home and when they will be there. Any changes to arrival time or a crew change is communicated. We understand having someone else in your home can be a private and personal experience and that’s not something that we take lightly. We also understand that we make mistakes and things do not always go exactly to plan. We do everything we can to make it right and we always put our best foot forward.

Q: What is the best compliment that you have received from a client?

CM: The best compliment that we can get is when a customer refers us to their friends, family and neighbors. It demonstrates that they are thoroughly satisfied with our service and we always show our appreciation.

Q: What are your plans for the future of SayClean?

CM: We have a product line of all natural cleaning products coming soon as well as our recent launch of our VIP Club. The VIP Club offers monthly promotions including a chance to win free home cleans, additional home services and our ‘SayClean Stickies’ program that easily allows customers to communicate areas in their home that need extra attention. We have beach cleans ups, trail clean ups and a few other community activities in the works too. Join our VIP Club or follow us on social media for updates and how you can participate!
