Locals and tourists alike now have a heightened incentive to visit one of California’s most attractive cities. Anaheim is getting a major luxurious upgrade with the upcoming 613-room Westin Anaheim Resort. Located between the Anaheim Convention Center and Disneyland, is going to be an extravagant addition to one of Southern California’s hottest tourist meccas. Expected to debut in 2020, the high-end brand’s Westin hotel collaborated with owner-developer Wincome Group to bring seven stories of exceptional amenities including spacious decks, exclusive indoor and outdoor lounges, room to house gatherings with a reserved space of 42,000 square feet, and so much more.

“Our goal was to have an incredibly luxurious modern contemporary experience for guests in the Anaheim resort that exceeds anything we’ve really seen in Anaheim or in Orange County,” said Paul Sanford with Wincome Group. The upscale resort-style hotel will feature 613 chic guestrooms with 101 suites. Guests can indulge in each of the three restaurants and two bars. The opulence does not stop there. Atop the hotel is a stylish rooftop lounge including an expansive view that overlooks nightly fireworks and the Disneyland theme park.

When guests are not dining or socializing at one of the VIP lounge bars, they can relax or swim in the lavish pool surrounded by lush, tropical-inspired landscaping. “Some unique qualities of the design is its based around the organic Orange County environment,” Paul Sanford said. Additionally, fitness enthusiasts can lift their work-out experience inside an advanced gym, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

The carefully thought out placement of the Westin Anaheim hotel could not be more precise. “It’s fabulous to have both proximity from the Anaheim Convention center and be down the street from Disneyland,” Charles Harris with Visit Anaheim said. Bringing the notoriety brand Westin to Anaheim will continue to nourish the thriving tourism industry the city is well-known for. Whether it’s accommodating leisure travelers or professionals visiting for business, guests can enjoy a Westin standard hospitality.

In addition to providing an exceptional guest experience, the construction of this deluxe hotel will provide upwards of 2,000 jobs. Preferred candidates for the construction positions are Anaheim residents, Orange County residents, and military veterans. Upon its grand opening in 2020, The Westin Anaheim Resort will employ over 400 people. This new addition to Southern California’s highly tourist-centric city is sure to bring exciting opportunities.
