When you’re in the mood to venture out of your super comfortable Netflix-Hulu-binge-watching schedule and grab an expertly curated meal with strangers, try Meal Sharing. You’ll come out pleasantly surprised, a little tipsy, and maybe even a smidge smarter because of it—it is after all, a learning experience. Meal Sharing in Orange County

Plan to attend a Meal Sharing event hosted by Meal Sharing Creative Director, Gina Ruccione and you’ve begun your adventure. Here’s what will happen: you’ll get to the dinner and be gathered into a warm embrace by Gina. After expressing her glee at your attendance she will get down to business. “Get settled, the cocktails are in the corner. Have one, they’re delicious!” Meal Sharing in Orange County

The Hostess with the Mostess. Martha Stewart—eat your heart out. What more does a party of one need than a warm greeting and immediate direction to a Women and Whiskey-made Lemon-Rosemary enchanted beverage?

You will wander the premises for a hot second—taking in the trendy environment and glitzy crowd you’ve found yourself in—and find your seat next to equally excited foodies. Meal Sharing in Orange County

Delicious hors d’oeuvres will be served to you; in this case it was our personal pub favorite: Chive, cream cheese, stuffed date, wrapped in bacon, with a maple syrup drizzle by Saint Marc Pub-Cafe, Bakery & Cheese Affinage. And you will ready yourself for the carefully curated dining experience ahead. Meal Sharing in Orange County

The story created by Gina is unique to each Meal Sharing event. With each course, you will receive an education on the food and drink in front of you. As the night goes on, you find each individual course has a story to tell, a history if you could be so bold. “Hosting has become a lost art. It’s not just about putting food on the table and keeping drinks flowing. It is about curating a dining experience, ” says Gina. “It’s creating a space that is nostalgic, familial and so undeniably comfortable that it allows people to truly let their hair down.”

During this time, you will create a friendship with your fellow foodies. You will begin to find common ground over the food and drink in front of you. And maybe you will form a friendship over something more, make some lifelong connections, who knows? The night is young, the drinks are ever-flowing, and if anything, you will always have Burnt Crumb’s buttermilk fried chicken, and sriracha honey, on a house biscuit meal to reminisce upon.

With Meal Sharing, your adventure begins alone, but ends with a group of new friends, kindred spirits with a lust for the great things in life: food, drink, and adventure.
