Where to Glow for the Ultimate Glow in the Dark Activities

Written By: Nicole Hakim

Life can become a bit routine, and the things that you once considered to be fun may become stale once you’ve done them over and over. The best way to rectify this is to try something out of the ordinary. Glow in the dark activities are exciting and offer something that’s unlike anything you’ve done before, and for those who are apprehensive about stepping out of their comfort zones, they may just add a colorful new twist to already loved activities.

Los Angeles

At Velveteria, you’ll find a room known as the Black Light room where you will discover a new way to view and appreciate art: through glow in the dark. The Black Light room allows you to lounge in bean bags as your eyes wander over the fluorescent pieces that make for a unique art experience.

K1 Speed

K1 Speed turns your average go karting into Glo Karting, Monday through Friday at 7 p.m. until closing. Ride in glowing go karts and race against your friends down tracks illuminated by the black lights above. The race will feel much more suspenseful, and maybe even a bit more dangerous, which is perfect for those customers looking for an adrenaline rush.

The Glowzone offers a variety of glow in the dark activities including a ninja course, a laser maze, Spin Zone Bumper Cars and more! You can even host your next birthday party here and customize it to be unique and exciting for you and your guests.

Palm Springs

Friends of the Desert Mountains

Shining their black lights, excited guests try to spot glowing scorpions wandering along the trail. Along with the Friends of the Desert Mountains, guests will not only be able to see these creatures giving off brilliant glowing lights, they will be able to learn about them as well.

Laser Oasis

Channel your inner Barney Stinson as you explore the 6,000-square-foot arena and forget the other team members are friends and family as you aim to earn points by hitting anyone that is now your enemy. You can also take part in a laser maze and face your fears by trying out a rope course.

Glo Mini Golf

Take mini golf to another level by playing—you guessed it—in the dark. The Glo Mini Golf course will not only provide you with a new way to play mini golf, but it will also take you around the world in just 27 holes. Throughout the course, you will see famous, glowing landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, as you take on putt after putt.

San Bernardino

Blacklight Slide

If you’re looking to get glowed yourself, the Blacklight Slide will make your wish come true. The slides are filled with neon glow in the dark water ensuring that you’ll get splattered with the shining substance. After you’ve tuckered yourself out on the slide, head to the DJ to glow as you dance.

Lend a Hand: The Blacklight Slide supports several charities including Ronald McDonald House and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

After Party: Compete against your co-workers and book your next corporate event at K1 Speed!

One of a Kind: Laser Oasis is the only indoor facility of its kind in the valley and features 17,000 square feet of fun.
