Watching new blockbusters at home on demand was a convenient alternative (given the times), but nothing compares to the nostalgia of enjoying a new flick on a larger-than-life screen with surround sound and the delightful scent of fresh buttery popcorn.
While AMC is excited to continue the legacy of celebrating 100 years at the movies, their top priority is the health and safety of guests. With new policies and procedures in place, such as simplified menu options to reduce lines at the concession stand and decreased auditorium capacity to cautiously promote social distancing, you can breathe easy, knowing you’re in safe hands.

New ticketing technology is also in place, allowing guests to easily and conveniently purchase tickets in advance through the AMC website or from the AMC Theatres’ Movies & More app. The reservation technology also restricts direct neighboring seats outside of the reserved seating blocks chosen by each party. This enhanced seating system removes the stress of having to arrive at the theatre early to snag the best spot available while also ensuring you’re getting the best selection.
Additional contact-free food and drink ordering has also been implemented for a quick and seamless guest transaction. Schedule ahead online or from the app to enjoy refreshing libations from MacGuffin’s Bar, gourmet delicacies and the classic candy and popcorn go-tos. The Express Pick-Up kiosk will have your selections ready upon arrival at the designated time of your choosing.
Another hip feature is the theater’s contact-free Coca-Cola Freestyle station, which offers over 100 drink options to choose from. This new machine also features touchless “mobile pouring,” so guests can pour their favorite beverage using their smartphone!
