Lush green grass and delicately manicured pockets of jungle make the Paradise Point Resort & Spa an ideal spot for our San Diego June cover shoot. In a secluded pocket of Mission Bay, Emma Kenney illuminated the beautiful, green canopy before the eyes of our LOCALE crew.
Emma delicately maneuvered through the soft leaves and flowers in a way reminiscent of how she put together an impressive collection of accolades that highlight her successful career. This east-coast-turned-west-coast actress is an ideal feature for our cover story—not even 20 years old, and she’s a star in two award-winning series.
Music lover that she is, Diddy’s “Last Night” played from Emma’s phone while she hung from a tree branch, moving to the rhythm as photographer Michael Wesley captured her wild spirit. “Emma Kenney was amazing to work with. She had a great energy and you could tell she was excited for the shoot. We put her in an amazing tropical wardrobe in an equally as lush location. We used 85mm and strobe, plus natural light for the cover shots,” explained Wesley.
