Jewels by Joseph Says Goodbye After 100 Years in the Industry

Beloved Southern California Store Takes Final Bow With Major Sale

Written By: Alana Aronson Jewels by Joseph

After a rich 100-year old history and much success in Southern California since the 1950s, Jewels by Joseph will be permanently closing its doors at the end of this year. With a presence in the jewelry industry for over 45 years, Owner Jim Hartstein has brought expertise and passion to Jewels by Joseph’s Newport Beach and Costa Mesa locations. The success of the business is a family achievement though, as Jim’s sister and daughter have been very much involved in the company. Jim’s grandfather founded Jewels by Joseph in Pennsylvania the early 1900s and carried on the California legacy of his father Simon.

To say goodbye to such a community landmark, the Retirement Sale for Jewels by Joseph for the public begins Nov. 25. Jewels by Joseph showcases stunning pieces from designers such as Fana, Simon G., Lashbrook, Lika Behar, Luca by Lecil, Heather B. Moore, Peter Storm, Sandra Biachi, and pieces from their own Jewels by Joseph collection.

For timeless pieces you are sure to cherish for years to come, make sure to attend their Retirement Sale and wish well the family that has been providing glitz and glam to Southern California for nearly 60 years. Brilliant rings, dazzling necklaces and statement-making bracelets are the perfect gift to give (or receive!). Give your standing ovations while Jewels by Joseph takes its final bow.
