Monday

Nothing picks me up from the Monday blues like a sunset on the water. Visiting Ocean Beach at Sunset Cliffs is sure to brighten your day. Afterwards, I never miss out on the best fish tacos in San Diego from South Beach Bar & Grille.

Tuesday

The best kept (not so secret) Taco Tuesday is Cantina Mayahuel in Normal Heights. Get there early, because there will be a line out the door! When you arrive, order me a chicken torta with Tequila Ocho, Añejo with a side of house made sangrita.

Wednesday

Wednesdays are made for wine. Vin de Syrah downtown has a great atmosphere and on Wednesdays they even offer complimentary Tarot Card readings starting at 7 p.m. by Dr. Mary Kay Fisher, PsyD. I am sensing a cheeseboard in your near future…

Thursday

I have been spending a lot of time in North Park lately. Holsem Coffee is one of my favorite coffee shops not to mention their Baklava Latte is NEXT LEVEL. Check out Pigment right around the corner too! They have the best gifts, and DIY succulent terrariums (WARNING: your backyard will be covered in them).

Friday

Being in the beer industry, you have to stay on top of your game and visit at least 1 of the 128 microbreweries. Aside from Mike Hess Brewing, some of my favorites include Pure Brewing Project and Fall Brewing.

Saturday

There is nothing better than waking up in the morning and going to complimentary oceanfront yoga on Law Street in Pacific Beach. You HAVE to check out @namasteveyoga—if you’re lucky he will bring his dog or pet pig to the class too. Afterwards, walk down to Kono’s Café for the best breakfast on a budget.

Sunday

San Diego is an adult’s playground. My favorite playground would have to be the Torrey Pines Golf Course. The views on the North Course are unreal, not to mention the greens are incredible! Oh yeah, walking off to the AAA Five Diamond Lodge at Torrey Pines and eating at The Grill isn’t too shabby either.
