This week, a local Los Angeles high school received a very special delivery. Birmingham Community Charter High School baseball teams were shocked and overjoyed when Los Angeles Dodgers MVP, Cody Bellinger, was literally delivered to their baseball field by Postmates. We don’t even want to ask the price of that Postmates order! “Being the number one delivery service in LA, we have a ton of love for the city and feel like we’re a part of it. We have an incredible partnership with the Dodgers and joined their community outreach week to help surprise and delight the baseball teams at Birmingham Community Charter High School,” says Postmates spokesperson.

The high school players whipped out their cell phones to document this unexpected and memorable moment. Bellinger delivered an LA favorite, Trejo’s Tacos burritos and donuts, to the team. The young fans got to hangout and chat with Bellinger, all while all enjoying their food. They were also personally invited to an upcoming Dodgers game. Not to mention, Bellinger autographed the young fans’ shoes. “It was such a pleasure to bring them something special to celebrate the upcoming baseball season,” remarks Postmates spokesperson. It was a day to remember, indeed!

Last year, the Dodgers kicked off their partnership with Postmates by offering the opportunity for fans to order food from various concession stands around the stadium and choosing a desired time to pick it up. A Dodger Dog and an ice-cold beer without waiting in line and missing part of the game? Sounds too good to be true. And it gets even better, this opportunity will still be available to fans in the upcoming 2020 season! Download Postmates, buy your Dodgers tickets and skip the line… We’ll see you at Dodgers Stadium.
