Happy hour at JRDN restaurant at Tower 23 in Pacific Beach. You have to make it for the sunset and the specials. The sushi is out of this world! Chef David Warner has this operation going in an amazing direction.
Tuesday | 24 Hour Fitness | Caffè Calabria
Tuesday is gym day at 24 Hour Fitness in Escondido. Then coffee at Caffè Calabria in North Park with a few other food and beverage professionals to brainstorm ideas and talk about successes and failures within our operations.
Wednesday | Hundred Proof
[I go to] happy hour at Hundred Proof for some amazing drinks. Beverage Director Stephen Kurpinsky has this bar program going in a very positive direction.
Thursday | St Mark Golf Course | The 3rd Corner
Thursday is golf at 7 a.m. with my management team at St Mark Golf Course. After work, it is wine knowledge time at The 3rd Corner in either Encinitas or Ocean Beach. Fantastic wines at amazing prices—this is a must for all locals.
Friday | Vintana
[Time for] dinner with the wife and kids at their favorite spot, Vintana at the Lexus Centre in Escondido. The staff always goes out of their way to make the kids feel special.

This is my day of rest. I’ll go to church with the wife and kids, then enjoy brunch at Decoy at Lakehouse Hotel & Resort that is truly out of this world. The rest of the day is preparing for the next week coming up.
