Lido Bottle Works 5 Year Anniversary

Lido Bottle Works–offering hyperseasonal coastal cuisine, a unique selection of craft beers and California wine–will celebrate 5 years in business this Thursday, May 19. The restaurant, which opened in 2017, has become a gem of the revamped Lido Marina Village and was listed at No. 58 on “Best Restaurants in America” list by Yelp for 2022.

 

Restaurant staff will celebrate the anniversary during Happy Hour 4-6 p.m. this Thursday with passed apps and special menu items.

 

“Thank you to our amazing local community and to everyone from afar who has joined us over these 5 years! And to all of our LBW Team Members and the restaurant’s owners who have made Lido Bottle Works what it is today,” LBW partner Brett Karas said. “This has been an incredible 5 years and we couldn’t have done this without you!”

 

Lido Bottle Works was founded by father and sons Bill, Eric and Kyle Paine with Brett Karas and Kirk O’Brien; and has seen 3 chefs at the helm–most recently Costa Mesa’s Joel Gutierrez, who has worked at LBW since 2018, under both original Executive Chef Joel Harrington and his successor, Executive Chef Amy Lebrun.

 

Gutierrez reflects the restaurant’s style of cuisine, and will continue with LBW’s commitment to seasonal food with perfectly-paired local craft beers and California wines. He also maintains a strong focus on 100% utilization of his products, which gives him “the drive to be creative and find new and exciting ways to present certain ingredients.”
