Let’s be honest, it’s not really a party if there isn’t a killer menu! Taste some of the most popular dishes and local favorites from Greater Palm Springs restaurants like Adobe Grill, Ernie’s, Morgans in the desert and Fresh Juice Bar. Adobe Grill will be bringing its delectable Infladita de Cochinita Pibil made with achiote braised pork, black beans, xni-pec, cilantro, and onion ash, while Ernie’s serves up skirt steak marinated with ginger soy sauce and sesame oil, calrose rice, shishito pepper, green onions and eel sauce. Be sure to keep an eye out for the local date braised short rib with danvers carrot puree, imperial white turnip, toasted hazelnut and Grgich Hills Essence from Morgan’s in the desert. In the mood for something light? Fresh Juice Bar will be offering their Vegan Blue Magik Sorbet, booster juice shots and juice samples.

Hello, Modernism Week!

Clink and sip! We’re celebrating not only the launch of our Greater Palm Springs February issue, but kicking off the start of Modernism Week! Enjoy a complimentary cocktail with $10 admission, as well as a full bar stocked with your favorite spirits. Be sure to try the Thyme After Thyme with Hendricks Gin, cloudy apple juice, watermelon and thyme syrup, and Red Bull Orange Edition or the Latin Groove with Milagro Silver, Pallini Limoncello, Aperol, lime juice and simple syrup. For lighter sips, try a Lillet Spritz made with Lillet Blanc and tonic garnished with cucumber slices, mint leaves and strawberry, a chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon or pinot noir from Wente Vineyards, or a cold Modelo or Corona.

Modernism Week isn’t just the event of the year, it’s also a nonprofit that works 365 days a year to educate, preserve and help sustain the midcentury architecture and design that has become so synonymous with the Palm Springs lifestyle. In addition to the annual Modernism Week events, they also provide scholarships to students of architecture and design, as well as local preservation groups throughout the state.

Listen To the Songstress Crooning Your Favorite Midcentury Hits

Go back to ‘50s—a time before CD players, Apple Music and Spotify, when dinner and dancing was accompanied by the live vocals of a talented singer and dinner parties lasted until the wee hours of the morning. Here, dance the night away to the music of Rose Mallett, a local jazz singer who specializes in making your heart flutter and feet move.

La Quinta Resort & Club Is the Place To Be

Location, location, location! An adage just as true now as it was in Palm Springs’ Hollywood heyday. Sprawled over the palatial property of La Quinta Resort & Club, this party holds nothing back, offering you the glitz and glamour of the Waldorf Astoria resort paired with the best Modernism Week has to offer.
