From retail shops, salons, art galleries, bakeries and small restaurants, pop-ups have been seen all around town. For those foodies out there, these temporary eateries provide the perfect opportunity to test out a new place and rely usually on social media to create buzz. Occurring in unexpected places, for a limited time, pop-up restaurants allow chefs to showcase their talents to a wider audience and gain mass appeal. Here are four upcoming LA food pop-ups that are a must try.

They take it to the next level with artisan cookies, marshmallows made from scratch and topped with numerous selections for toppings.

Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee Truck

The new Sidecar Truck brings their signature doughnut flavors like smoked chocolate and pretzel, pink lemonade and birthday cake at each pop-up, ensuring a fresh, warm doughnut for every customer. From summer into the fall, the truck will be popping up all over LA.

Native Knowledge: If you happen to be lucky enough to live close to one of their brick and mortar shops, go early! There’s usually a line but it is so worth it.

Baby Pie, Pie, Pie!

Sweet Rose Creamery

Every Saturday and Sunday through Labor Day, Sweet Rose Creamery will be throwing Pie Pop-Ups at Brentwood Country Mart. From 8 a.m.-noon., stop by and hang out on the patio and enjoy peanut butter and jelly hand pies, farmers market fruit galettes and more.
