The warm, SoCal weather may have initiated an early beach season, but summer is officially here. But, have no fear! It is not too late to start working on your summer body. To find the fitness destination to achieve your summer goals, look no further than the Renaissance ClubSport Aliso Viejo. With countless amenities and programs, ClubSport skillfully combines fitness, social activities and relaxation. This fitness hotspot offers everything from nutritional programs, fitness groups, sports and spas to help members adopt a healthier lifestyle.
ClubSport knows that a healthy lifestyle starts with a healthy diet. Their wellness packages, nutritional team and nutritional supplements are all designed to cleanse the body and manage weight loss. Additionally, their Citrus Fresh Grill & Market serves delicious meals made from locally grown ingredients. No matter the meal, the fresh menu ensures that diners will find delicious, healthy food. If you do not have time to dine at their grill and lounge, Citrus sells ready-made meals, snacks and smoothies for a tasty post-workout bite.
What better way to get in shape than with people who share the same mindset? At ClubSport, members can join Group Fitness classes such as yoga, pilates, cycling, cardio and dance. There are several levels and times for each class and over 120 options, making it easy to find one that fits into a busy schedule.
The Group Training programs, like Sequence Boxing and Hard Knocks Conditioning, are an intensive alternative to the cardio-based Group Fitness classes. ClubSport also offers one-on-one and small group training for members that want a more personalized workout routine.
Whether on land or in the water, nothing beats good ‘ol teamwork. There are five court sports to choose from: basketball, volleyball, racquetball and squash. Squash, racquetball and volleyball have lessons and leagues that are coached by professionals, while basketball involves seasonal leagues and pick-up games. Current summer leagues include racquetball, which has games every Tuesday, basketball and open play community squash.
If you are interested in improving your racquetball skills, what better way to learn than from racquetball professional Rocky Carson? Carson has been a US National Champion four times and is also a three-time International Racquetball Federation World Singles Champion. Carson’s coaching goals include teaching the fundamentals of racquetball and helping players improve their awareness on the court.
Beat the heat through one of the ClubSport swim programs. The aquatics center hosts adult swim lessons and scheduled times for lap swimming. The Kids Swim programs, such as swim lessons and the Gators novice swim team, give kids of all levels the opportunity to improve their fitness. The swim programs allow parents to get in shape and be at ease with the knowledge that their children are strengthening their swimming capabilities.
The perks of being a member of ClubSport extend beyond health benefits. You can join programs and classes taught by expert staff members who specialize in providing support and motivation. Plus members have access to hotel and dining discounts as well as discounts at an extensive list of preferred merchants.
Be sure to go all-in for the REV32 four-week Session that kicks off in July and continues in August, or get ready for your next big race with the half marathon training that starts at the end of July.
During July, there will be Live Music Fridays at Citrus Fresh Grill from 6-10 p.m., and on July 19 there is a Corralejo Tequila Tasting. Bonus! Enjoy a post workout Taco Tuesday every week from 5-8 p.m. You’ve worked hard, you deserve it!
