Audi has committed to transitioning away from internal combustion engines and making more electric vehicles within the next five years. This pledge shows they care about the environment and guarantees we’ll see more models soon. At Audi Fletcher Jones, you can talk to an associate about which option fits your needs and, as Audi Associate Tyler Dawson says, “Get a car you’ll want for the next 10 years, not the next 10 days.” With more options available, you’re sure to find one you’ll love and one that’ll last.

Something for Everyone

No matter what type of vehicle you’re looking for today, Audi has a wide variety to choose from. Family-readied and travel-equipped models like the E-Tron SUV or Sportback offer ample cargo space, virtual cockpit plus displays, driver assistance with Audi’s Pre Sense Front and an estimated 225-mile range with a full charge. In addition, Dawson says, “These models go above and beyond in technology and design,” which makes “tiny, impractical” concerns a thing of the past.

Ever dreamt of owning an exotic sports car but don’t want the maintenance or operating expenses that go along with one? Then the all electric Audi GT or GT RS is just what you need. With a charge time of about 23 minutes, either 522 or 637 horsepower, and the sleek, smooth lines of a classic sports car, you’ll get everything you could ever want without having to watch your bank account.

For the number crunching clients, tax credits can help offset the purchase price of an electric vehicle and keep costs down. The CA Clean Fuel Reward offers up to $750 in credits for leasing or purchasing an electric car, and federal tax credits can get you up to $7,500 in Federal BEV + PHEV credits to lower the total cost too. Factoring this in along with the fuel savings, it can help make an all electric vehicle that much more practical and viable. And don’t forget about the ability to use the carpool lane as an added bonus, time is money.

Timing Is Everything

Not ready yet you say? Well, Audi has more vehicles still in the works that should be available just in time to hop on the EV bandwagon. First, with the E-Tron and Sportback midsize SUVs coming in late 2022, you get 295 horsepower, a 38-minute charge time and a 241-mile drive range. Then in late 2023, look out for the A6, a sleek sedan with the signature Audi silhouette and minimal drag but fully electric with all-wheel drive and a 400-mile driving range!

According to Dawson, “By 2035, up to 80% of Audi vehicles will be electric,” which is incredible and also gives you time to think about which car you want most. “With so much to offer, and whether it’s today or tomorrow, we would love the opportunity to show you around.”
