Food Halls are a staple of big-city food culture. As the artisan food culture spreads via social media, so does the appeal of the aspect of mingling with different people in one big open space with delicious smells wandering through the air. Most recently added in San Diego will be Windmill Food Hall, the first food hall in North County, slated to debut in late September.

Nestled within an iconic roadside landmark just off Interstate 5, this space in Carlsbad is unique and will include a great collection of curated vendors, all with their own different take on some of our favorite dishes that we are more than eager to try. The variety is evident, and our taste buds are ready. Get ready, because here’s the foodie version of a Coachella-worthy lineup:

This is only the beginning! Windmill Food Hall is planning on adding more places to eat to ensure that every member of the fam or your food-lovin’ crew will find something to enjoy.

Native Knowledge: The concept will include a full-service bar, tons of outdoor seating and a speakeasy on the second floor that will be dubbed “The Library.” It will be completed in the months following the grand opening of the food hall.
