Butchers & Barbers is a newer American bistro that is located in the heart of Hollywood. Since it’s opening it’s been serving up some delicious, unique bites and meals. Their menu features the kind of dishes that we all crave, including their B&B burger, Farro Risotto and Squash Salad. Some of their other, light menu items include their popcorn, which is prepared with rosemary, garlic and thyme oil or their house-made pickles. Depending on the evening sit down for a few smaller items to share over cocktails or dive into their 36 oz rib eye steak for some fuel. Whatever you decide don’t skip out on the cocktails, which are all handcrafted and extremely unique. We recommend the gambler which is made up of roasted chile-infused mellow corn whiskey, rittenhouse rye whiskey, pear, smoked demerara syrup, cider and lemon. Cheers!

Our next new LA hot spot is the coolest couch-side eating we’ve done in this neighborhood. This restaurant is an underground venue that offers a whole lot more than just delicious bites to eat and crafty cocktails. Their atmosphere is unlike anywhere else in the area and they often have live music for guests to enjoy. Located in the basement of the historic Pershing Square Building, you need to pass through an unassuming pair of black double doors and descend down an ornate iron staircase and past the 5, 500 gallon chandelier filled with sea life to enter. As if seeing all of this wasn’t enough reason to go and check this spot out, their menu (both food and drink) is quite impressive and unique. Order a stiff cocktail and some caviar for a classy evening out with some good tunes and atmosphere.

Los Angeles, CA 90012
Located in the heart of the historic downtown neighborhood, General Lee’s brings declisious craft cocktails to Chinatown. Check out the view of this beautiful tiki flare addition to the neighborhood and get lost on island time. This swanky joint is dimly lit with tons of drapery that gives it an elegant feel inside. It’s just one of the up and coming restaurants that have begun to change LA’s Chinatown scene and elevate it to a whole new level. Their cocktail menu is constantly changing with new and exciting drinks and ideas that you need to stop by and try!

If you’re into fancy sausage, California booze and good times then you’ve come to the right place. All of their sausages are made in house with the kind of meat that you can feel good about (hormone-free, anti-biotic free, no nitrates and no preservatives). They feature a different sausage of the day to keep their customers on their toes and on the look out for whats next. Although they have a large selection of links to choose from if you don’t find anything that completely satisfies your craving, fear not. You can customize your very own sausage to cure any and all cravings that you may have that day. Just make sure you save room for dessert and order their double chocolate chip cookies that are served with peanut butter and ice cream. You’re welcome.

If you love eighties themed night clubs as much as the next guy, then this is your new Saturday night hangout spot. This smaller nightclub is located right in the heart of Hollywood, tucked behind the Supper Club as a hidden gem. Inside there are five disco balls, a DJ booth inside an elevator cage and beats for days. There’s no better place to head over for a few drinks and hit the dance floor without a care in the world. It’s recommended that you also enjoy some of their delicious cocktails for a little liquid courage to get out there!
