Sea to Table

I love eating at Big Catch Seafood House in Long Beach. I absolutely love seafood. I typically order the crab boil, which has Cajun seasoning with sausage and shrimp.

Taste of Mexico

Los Compadres in Long Beach is my favorite small-business restaurant to support. They serve delicious, authentic Mexican food for a great price! The atmosphere feels like you’re in Mexico and they have a full bar if you’re in the mood for a drink!

Inspo in the Kitchen

My mom is definitely my inspiration for cooking. She knows how to bring family and friends together with food. She’s the reason that I enjoy home cooking, and I think about her most when I’m in the kitchen.

Lure Fish House in Santa Barbara is my favorite restaurant to visit in California. They feature the freshest sustainable seafood from trusted sources and have the most delicious grilled oysters that I’ve ever experienced. Prepare for an upscale evening!

Say Cheese

One of my favorite things to cook for the holidays is mac and cheese—my family loves it! I use elbow noodles and prepare it with three different cheeses. After bringing it to a boil, I add vegetables and broiled chicken pieces and also include a cream sauce with fresh-grated cheddar cheese. Then, I bake it for about 25 minutes. When it’s done, I add a generous amount of sharp cheddar on top and place it back in the oven until the cheese melts and has a light-brown coating.
