Written By: Lynne Eodice Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce Events

Are you looking to get more involved with your community? This year, the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce is playing host to some very inspirational (and cool!) events that are perfect for getting to know your city, community leaders and some of the best restaurants in the area. Plus, as a Chamber member, you can benefit from weekly Leads Luncheons or monthly mixers that are hosted by a variety of businesses around the city. If you’re not a Chamber member (but networking is your thing), you won’t want to miss out on these important annual events that the Chamber hosts throughout the year.

Mayor Robert Moon, the Palm Springs city council and city staff will discuss tourism, new business developments, and other city policies, goals and happenings at the annual State of the City Luncheon in September. Dress to impress—the event is a who’s who of Palm Springs! The luncheon is a paid event and reservations are a must, but it’s free for those who only wish to hear Mayor Moon deliver his State of the City address.

This December luncheon event honors several local women for their leadership, community service and professional expertise. The award is appropriately named after the goddess Athena of Greek mythology who was famous for her strength, courage and wisdom. If you want to celebrate influential and successful women (and who doesn’t!), then don’t miss this inspirational event.
