Pancakes are like the most pivotal component of a delicious breakfast, and the must-have for a Sunday brunch. I mean who doesn’t love warm, fluffy pancakes, with butter melting on top of them and dressed in thick, gooey maple syrup? The search is over, as we’ve come up with a list of the BEST pancakes offered in San Diego. Proceed with caution – you don’t want to drool all over your keyboard.

100 Wines

Located in Hillcrest and known for their giant selection of wine, 100 Wines is definitely on the top of our list with their delicious Apple Butter Hotcakes. Available only during Sunday brunch, these special pancakes are topped with cherries. Make sure to complement the buttery goodness with $1 mimosas while you’re at it!

Davanti Enoteca

The modern restaurant has quickly become one of the most popular spots in Little Italy. Their ricotta pancakes on the brunch menu is a must-have. Topped with lemon curd drizzle and blueberries, these pancakes are amongst their top-selling items of the restaurant. Refine your palate and try for yourself!

When you order a side of pancakes off their menu, first thing that jumps out at you is they don’t seem to be your regular pancakes. When you bite into it, that’s where the magic happens! The pancakes are filled with an abundant amount of mascarpone cheese, some nutty chocolate drizzle and some espresso syrup topped with berries. Trust us – it’s unlikely any pancakes you’ve tasted in your life. Every bite is a taste of heaven.

Get your pancake on with their buttermilk, healthy gourmet multigrain, nostalgic PB&J, or whatever hotcake catches your eye, which you can enjoy all day long. If your stomach is really grumbling, order The Ultimate Pancake Sandwich.
