Monica Pommier Grubin, the owner of all four Orange County locations (Newport Beach, Irvine, Mission Viejo and Huntington Beach) works to create an environment that is welcoming yet pushes you to work hard for that desired bod. “It’s not a looking around the room-type of workout, ” says Grubin. “To do it right, you have to focus on yourself quite a bit.” Due to the commitment Pure Barre aims to consistently uphold of a lively and active environment, instructors never teach the same class twice, either by changing up music or exercises. While there are no distinct cycling classes to be taken at GritCycle, their classes are worthy of a whirl (or a spin!). All classes are of the same intensity levels; the workout you get out of it is entirely dependent on you! What makes each class unique, however, is the array of instructors that teach. Each instructor has their own approach to the 45-minute classes, making each visit more refreshing than the last. If 45 minutes are a bit lengthy for your schedule, GritCycle offers 30-minute spin classes at noon on Mondays and Wednesdays, so you will always have time to spin!

Two types of hip hop classes exist within the walls of Renaissance ClubSport: Hip Hop Dance and Cardio Hip Hop. A new choreography is taught each week, broadening your dance horizons! No prior experience is required, so anyone can join in on the high-energy environment. The cardio class combines elements from both dance and cardio to give you a workout like no other!
