As a traveler or a local, are you searching for a comforting setting away from home or a place to escape for the day? You will find the perfect combination at the newly renovated Miramonte Indian Wells Resort & Spa! Recently, this wonderfully redesigned hotel will exude a whole new look from the decor, bar and restaurants to some of the larger sections of the redesigned and lavish Well Spa.

The resort has two newly named and restored restaurants to choose from. To satiate those taste buds you may want to stop by the Citrus & Palm restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner, with entrees cooked daily from farm to table, practically any desire will be satisfied. You may sit indoors or on the patio, but either way you’ll have a great view of the Santa Rosa mountains through the French doors all around the restaurant. Chef Paul Hancock uses a combination of fresh, local ingredients and items grown directly on the property. What more could you ask for in a health-conscious, yet delicious meal!

If you’re looking for more of a lounge or bar area, or you’re up for a late night hand-crafted cocktail, be sure to stop by The Tavern. With its modern-day feel of plush royal blue velvet sofas and stools, white granite countertop bars and golden pendant lamps hanging from the ceiling tops, it’s a wonder you will ever want to depart. This is sure to be a busy scene come fall season as a place to meet for a drink and lounge in the classy ambiance.

Now, if you really plan on giving yourself a retreat from all the worries of everyday life, you’ll be enticed to stay a bit longer by visiting the redesigned Well Spa. This exotic new facility includes an expansive courtyard with saline pools, twelve treatment rooms (three being outdoor), a larger, more luxurious nail salon and a co-ed relaxation lounge.

The bountiful array of amenities you may indulge in include eucalyptus-infused steam rooms, an outdoor whirlpool where you’ll enjoy refreshing citrus enhanced water and chilled lavender towels for cooling down. Even the lavender scent and citrus flavor is planted and picked fresh from the gardens on the property at Miramonte Indian Wells Resort & Spa.

When perusing the menu, you will find yourself indulging in treatments such as the “date scrub” or “lemon vitality scrub” that use locally grown ingredients indigenous to the desert location for authenticity. Last, but not least, be sure to take advantage of the Fall Seasonal Specials and the weekly “Desert Spa-tacular Happy Hour” comprising of reasonably discounted pricing for services like a massage or facial.

Upgraded suites and villas, pet-friendly accommodations and the surroundings of the sweet, aromatic citrus trees make the spot the place to be if you’d like to roam free during your Palm Springs visit or staycation. Is there any wonder that not just tourists, but many locals flock to the serene oasis of the Miramonte Indian Wells Resort & Spa, where low traffic flow and quiet, garden settings await you, all while watching an idealistic desert sunset!
