Orange County Top Realtors

Michelle Linovitz, Villa Real Estate

Q: What makes you stand out from other realtors?

Michelle Linovitz: My business requires experience, credibility and skill to do it well. Technology has made today’s marketplace more transparent and accessible than ever, but as a result, it can be more complicated and litigious too. I protect my clients from pitfalls that they otherwise may not know are there.

Q: How do you help buyers find their dream home?

ML: My answer is two-fold: listening to the buyer’s needs and knowing the inventory. More often than not, the buyer’s needs don’t align with the house they think they want. My role is to educate and advise. I don’t want to just sell homes; I want to sell the right homes to the right people.

Q: What should buyers expect when searching for homes in OC?

ML: In short, no matter what the price point, roll up your sleeves, find yourself a good realtor and prepare to get dirty. It’s a competitive marketplace out there.

Q: What trends do you see in luxury property real estate?

ML: Architectural styles are shifting more and more towards the modern and contemporary. Modern farmhouse is having a moment—white and bright interiors with rustic influence, floor-to-ceiling wood paneling, white marble, brass hardware. Above all, approachable and clean.

Q: What does it mean to you to be voted a favorite realtor in OC?

ML: Above all, the title is a testament to the great relationships I am fortunate to have, both with my clients and with my industry colleagues. At the end of the day, a realtor’s job is to bring people together and if all go home happy, so do I.

Orange County Top Realtors

Chip and Kim Mcallister, McAllister Real Estate Group

Q: What makes you stand out from other realtors?

Chip McAllister: We lead our business and personal lives with love. We genuinely love people, and we are not ashamed to admit that. Though we both have extensive experience in corporate America, we know the key to success in any business is to build strong, long-lasting relationships that are based on trust, respect and love.

Q: How do you help buyers find their dream home?

CM: We listen intently to the desires of our buyers’ hearts. We pride ourselves in knowing the inventory of homes in Orange County. We have lived in Orange County since 1999. We spend countless hours, driving through the neighborhoods, looking at the inventory of homes and learning the culture of the community.

Q: Why did you choose to become a realtor?

Kim McAllister: Chip and I both walked away from corporate America when we caught the ‘entrepreneurial bug.’ As a married couple, we wanted to work together and build something great to help others. Our faith inspires us to serve others and help them to find the desires of their heart.

What should buyers expect when searching for homes in OC?

CM: Orange County is one of the most desired areas in which to reside, which makes the process of buying a home very competitive. Having the right realtor is critical. Buyers should also know that the cost of living in Orange County is not for the faint of heart.

Q: What are advantages of working as a team?

KM: We subscribe to the motto that ‘two are better than one.’ We both bring different strengths to the business. Chip is a visionary, tech savvy and a great negotiator. I, on the other hand, am very strategic, detail-oriented and a great listener.

Edison Cook, The File Group, Surterre Properties

Q: How do you help buyers find their dream home?

Edison Cook: I think there’s two key elements to finding buyers their dream home. The first is listening to their needs and wants. The second is your network and knowledge of the neighborhoods. In today’s low inventory, our team, The File Group has a network of colleagues/realtors and former clients who know their neighbors and they help us find unique off-market opportunities. That’s what really brings value to our buyers.

Q: Why did you choose to become a realtor?

EC: I’m actually a second-generation realtor and enjoyed real estate from a young age watching my mom sell homes. I have always been interested in great architecture and design, and not many places have more amazing homes than here in Newport Beach. I also love helping people find their perfect home.

Q: What should buyers expect when searching for homes in OC?

EC: They can expect a competitive and fast marketplace. They can also expect to not be the only offer on a nice home that’s priced right. Right now, the inventory of homes for sale in Orange County is at a five-year low. We have more buyers than sellers and being prepared and pre-approved, so they can act quick to get their dream home before someone else does.

Q: How do you help your clients understand their property’s potential?

EC: First, I listen to their needs and wants. Then I search thoroughly for homes that fit those needs. I’m also a numbers guy, so I try to help my clients break down the numbers from comps to market trends as well as financing options to see if the deal pencils out for their budget and needs.

Q: What does it mean to you to be voted a favorite realtor in OC?

EC: It means that I’ve provided a high level of service to my clients and that they’ve noticed.  I’m truly honored to be even mentioned with that amazing list of top realtors in OC. I look up to a lot of them with how they also do business and it validates that integrity and work ethic does get rewarded in time.

Q: What makes you stand out from other realtors?

Brian Liberto: I have the largest online footprint with over 150k connections and built over $120 million in iconic luxury homes throughout Newport Beach ranging from $1.5 million to $15 million.

Q: How do you help buyers find their dream home?

BL: I don’t help buyers find their dream home. I build it for them and change their lifestyle.

Q: Why did you choose to become a realtor?

BL: Because I didn’t enjoy sitting behind a desk and found passion in people and innovating new things, like developing homes.

Q: What should buyers expect when searching for homes in OC?

BL: Expect that the journey changes over the course of the search and be prepared for a few hiccups along the way.

Q: How did you build your social media presence online?

BL: I built my online presence through 10 years of a relentless work ethic with a daily focus on growing my brand and engaging with other businesses while helping in each for a common goal. Oh, and spent a few hundred thousand dollars along the way.

Breanna LePante, Nook Real Estate

Q: What makes you stand out from other realtors?

Breanna LePante: I am a coastal OC native and I understand the nuances of our communities. I have invested in a real estate coach, and this provides me a unique selling proposition. It also gives me access to a national and international network of real estate professionals with like-minded goals for our clients.

Q: What should buyers expect when searching for homes in OC?

BL: They expect me to guide them and identify the properties off and on the market in a timely manner.

Q: Why did you make the switch from Hollywood to real estate?

BL: I spent five years in Hollywood and had an amazing time, but I always knew that my roots would lead me back to coastal Orange County. The people, community, entertainment, dining and shopping all added to the allure of coming home and to follow my passion of real estate. It was the best decision I’ve made for my life and my career.

Q: What is your favorite style of home?

BL: Single level cottage ranch homes. Ranches are great because they originated in California, are distinct in SoCal and typically have a nice sized lot/backyard.

Q: What does it mean to you to be voted a favorite realtor in OC?

BL: I’m very honored and blessed to be voted a “Favorite Realtor” in OC.  Being recognized and appreciated for my dedication to my family, friends, past clients and current clients is the best acknowledgement that real estate is my perfect career choice.
