Spring has sprung in San Diego and there’s no better way to celebrate the new season than by toasting to a stunning rooftop sunset. At LOCALE, we have you covered. Join us on Thursday, April 4 from 6-8 p.m. for a special LOCALE Social Hour on the picturesque rooftop deck of Little Italy’s new LUMA Apartments. For just $10, you’ll be treated to complimentary cocktails, light bites, live music and unbeatable views and company—all for a good cause. If you haven’t left this page to snag your ticket yet, here’s five reasons why you should consider joining us:
Social Hour at LUMA Apartments
#1 | Sip, Sip, Hooray!
We’ll be hosting a bar with Snake Oil Cocktail Company! Guests at our LOCALE Social Hour will be treated to the perfect spring sips which includes That’s My Jam (Hendrick’s gin, pressed grapefruit, infused thyme, blackberry jam and vanilla) and Jet Set (Reyka vodka, smashed cucumber, pressed lime, agave nectar and muddled basil). Samples of 100% blue agave craft tequila from CaliFino Tequila and an array of beer, wine and soft drinks will be available as well.
#2 | Snack Attack
You’ll find us by the food. This month, we are partnering with your favorite local restaurants including Waypoint Public and Nolita Hall to serve up the best of their small bites. WhipHand will also be cooking up short rib fondue crostini and lemon pepper wets, while Duck Donuts will be sampling donuts from both their signature assortment and Duck Dozen.
#3 | Listen up

Every good party needs good music—we have your back. Former “The Voice” contestant and rising star in the music industry, Aquile, will be providing the tunes for our happy hour. Trust us, this pop and soul singer/songwriter is not to be missed. You’ll be moving and grooving all night long.

There’s nothing like a rooftop view of America’s Finest City. Atop LUMA, the new luxury apartments in Little Italy, you can check out the neighborhood’s new piazza, the city skyline, the bay and the ocean. The sleek rooftop is also decked out with a refreshing pool and an outdoor theatre. Those golden hour ‘grams are going to make your followers feel the FOMO.
#5 | Good Intentions
With great food comes great responsibility. When you attend our Social Hour, your ticket purchase goes to Surfrider Foundation. All proceeds from the event will go to the nonprofit organization, which not only makes your stomachs full but also our hearts. As you help yourself to complimentary cocktails and mouth-watering appetizers, you’re helping to protect and preserve the world’s oceans, waves and beaches.
