The VinDiego Wine and Food Festival will host its sixth annual event on April 14 at Liberty Station in Point Loma from 3 to 7 p.m. Sip, swirl and savor a selection of over 300 wines and taste cuisine from over 25 of San Diego’s favorite eateries. Tickets are all-inclusive and include unlimited wine and food tastings and an awesome signature crystal VinDiego wine glass.
Wine About It
Seriously, there will be over 300 wines to experience in just one place! With that much wine being poured, and unlimited tastings, you’ll have the opportunity to find a wine varietal and winery you have never heard of. You’ll also have the chance to compare different wine styles such as oaked Chardonnay versus un-oaked.
What makes wine even better? Unlimited food pairings! Your tickets are all-inclusive, which means you get access to unlimited food samplings from 25 top local San Diego restaurants. We won’t judge if you drool a bit, and these chefs will be ready to please your palate with their tasty creations. It also gives you the chance to experience what different wines can do to food!
Feel the Beat
Get ready for classy vibes and be sure to check out featured award-winning local duo headliner, Jimmy & Enrique. You’ll be on a soulful international cultural journey with their rhythms that combine flamenco, salsa, calypso, Brazilian and Middle Eastern groove.
Grab some friends and mingle amongst a crowd of wine and food enthusiasts. This is San Diego’s “Classiest Wine Festival.” Unlike most festivals that are like a giant frat party, VinDiego will offer a relaxed atmosphere. And sorry kiddos. The event is 21 and over.
Bid on all sorts of items with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting VinDiego’s partner charities like the San Diego Italian Film Festival (SDIFF). SDIFF is a not-for-profit agency dedicated to making San Diego the spot for Italian culture, bringing the best in current Italian Cinema to America’s Finest City.
Native Knowledge: Take an Uber or Lyft, or use the metro! Parking is free and ample in Liberty Station, plus a $10 valet option. But more importantly, there is no need to drink and drive, so stay safe!
