Written By: Erica Nichols San Diego Restaurant Week January

The rest of the world may be taking to their healthier resolutions like a champ, but in San Diego, we’re still stuck in our old ways of digging into the refreshing appetizers, indulgent entrees and decadent desserts that this city has to offer. Step aside, cheat days. Thanks to San Diego’s ever-blooming foodie scene, we’re dining like every day is a vacation. And from Jan 20-27, you can take your wine and dining to the next level during San Diego Restaurant Week. With over 180 participating restaurants lined up, you and your foodie crew can take the ultimate culinary tour of the city’s buzzing culinary scene one dish at a time. To wake up your taste buds, we’ve laid out some of the can’t-miss restaurants joining in on the fun this year. Did someone say prix-fixe?

Cool and coastal, JRDN at Tower23 reflects its PB surroundings with laidback eats with an elevated twist. We know stomach grumbling can be embarrassing, but we can’t not tell you that their creamy Lobster Pasta is on the SDRW menu, along with the Pork “Bacon” Chop and their popular Ocean Blvd roll as a starter. Afterward, walk off your dinner along the boardwalk!
