Newport Beach, get ready to “Live Más” with the brand new Taco Bell Cantina officially opening its doors this week. With your beloved menu favorites (we’re looking at you Chicken Chalupa), plus some tasty additions, read on to see why you must visit this foodie haven ASAP.

  1. Booze

Do we really need to say more? This Taco Bell will also be serving up brewskies for you and your crew. Cheers with Taco Bell’s exclusive, first-ever branded beer ‘Beach Bell’ by local Four Sons Brewing. It will be a Mexican amber lager and will be a perfect match with your meal.

Other beers on deck will be Lagunitas LPA and Modelo Especial. Grab a Twisted Freeze which will soon be able to be mixed with your choice of vodka, rum or tequila.

  1. Location!

Taco Bell Cantina will be replacing the OG Original Pizza spot that occupied residence for 53 years previously on the hip McFadden Square corner. Ditch the drive-through, take a seat and take in the ocean breeze from the Newport Pier at the large window-front 14-seat bar.

  1. Share-Worthy Appetizers

Expect your Taco Bell classics with an addition of six shareable plates. Grub on tapa-style apps like seven-layer bean dip, Naked Chicken Chips, loaded nachos and Cheesy Bacon Jalapeño Dippers.

  1. Late Night

After the party, it’s the after party and it’s at Taco Bell Cantina! This spot will be your new go-to with hours like 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. everyday. The spray painted, brightly colored walls give off seriously cool, modern vibes; you’ll have some major FOMO if you’re not here this weekend.

  1. Wait, There (Will be) More!

There’s expected to be 300 more Cantina locations opening in the States in the next five years. This is the 11th spot to open, and the first in Southern California. They aim to duplicate the hot-spots in major cities like Chicago and Las Vegas.
